8/29 Recap, flyer
Hey everyone,
FNB went well this week. We made banana bread (0f course), carrot soup (finally some soup!), and fried bananas and onions (surprisingly amazing).
We continued at our Campus Parkway spot, where we now have at least two regulars. About 10 people came by overall, we got a few people interested in helping out in the future. One man we were talking with said that he saw an ad for us in the campus newspaper, does anyone know anything about this??
in other news, heres a flyer i made with a FNB comic-thing i found online.

Tomorrow at Carousel Fest -- help!
Hey everybody, the Jambulance yesterday was a wild success, and Food Not Bombs occupied Campus Parkway today for a good few hours.
But, tomorrow (!) is the last day of the Carousel Music Festival, and we were invited to set up a table at the Black Lodge at 7. Right now, however, we are understaffed. Would anybody be interested in helping cook and table at the Black Lodge tomorrow night with me? They have a kitchen we can use, so all we need to do is bring some food (which we can buy with donations), cook, serve/eat/hear lots of bands/pass out fliers/collect donations, clean up a little bit, and leave with our stomachs full and our hands empty.
If you want to help, send us an email ASAP!
- Isaac

This Saturday 8/22 -> Campus Pkwy & Bike Music Fest!
Hi everybody, this Saturday we are going to try to be in two different places at once: First, we're going to continue with our regularly scheduled Campus Parkway FNB luncheon at 1pm, so please come to that, bring yourself, friends, even bring some food to share if you'd like. Second, this Saturday is also the Bike Music Festival, and we're bringing out the Peanut Butter & Jambulance to make sure that nobody has to ride on an empty stomach. Both things will start with food preparation at the Sherwood at 10am, so whichever one you want to participate in, that's the place to go! I should also note that if there aren't enough people to really pull off both events, we'll probably just do the normal FNB. But that would be a tragedy. So come help us out!
